Getting here from Richlands - straight down Boundary Road
Via Boundary Road (12 minutes): From Richlands, head east on Boundary Road toward Inala and Darra. Continue through the Inala junction. Where Boundary Road meets Beaudesert Road, turn left (north). After about 1 km, turn right onto Beaufighter Avenue. We're at 675, on the left. One main road, two turns.
Via Ipswich Motorway (11 minutes, if you're on the motorway side of Richlands): Head east on the Ipswich Motorway toward Brisbane. Take the Beaudesert Road / Archerfield exit. At the bottom of the ramp, turn south on Beaudesert Road. Turn right onto Beaufighter Avenue within 500 metres.
The yard takes full-size vehicles - a removalist truck, a vehicle on a tow dolly, or a trailer with machinery. The entry and exit are both wide with no height restrictions.
Who uses storage from Richlands
Community and church groups - Richlands has a large and active Pacific Islander community with regular large-scale events through the year. PA systems, trestle tables, chairs, marquees, and cooking equipment take up serious space between events and don't belong in someone's spare room. A container holds all of it, and multiple members of your group can access the same container with key copies.
Families moving to Forest Lake or Springfield - A lot of families who bought in Richlands 8 to 10 years ago are now moving to Forest Lake, Springfield, or Redbank Plains. When the settlement dates don't line up or the new build isn't quite ready, a container in between gives you a staging point - move things out gradually without having to do a full move twice.
Tradies and contractors in the west corridor - Richlands has a lot of trade workers - plumbers, electricians, concreters - who live locally but work across Ipswich, Springfield, and the south-west. Tools, pipe stock, plant equipment, and work vehicles that don't belong in a suburban driveway overnight use the yard for a fraction of what commercial shed space costs.
Small businesses along Richlands Road - Light industrial and small commercial operators use containers for stock overflow, archive boxes, and equipment that doesn't need to be on-site every day. Less than 10 minutes from the Richlands industrial precinct, same price, same access.

What you should know before booking
The containers are shipping-grade steel, elevated on timber blocks on a sealed bitumen yard. The whole site is under CCTV and the gate is secured. You hold your own padlock - no master key arrangements. If you're storing items that aren't temperature-sensitive - furniture, tools, gear, boxes - the conditions are reliable year-round in Brisbane's climate.
Items that suit container storage well: household furniture, sports and outdoor equipment, tools and trade supplies, retail and event stock, documents in sealed boxes. Items that need a different solution: temperature-sensitive food, pharmaceuticals requiring climate control, or anything that legally requires air-conditioned archive conditions.
Questions from Richlands customers
We're a community group and hold around six large events a year. We have a PA system, two generators, twenty trestle tables, about sixty folding chairs, and four marquees. Can multiple people in our group access the same container?
Yes. A container is rented to whoever holds the account, and you decide who has access. The simplest approach is one padlock with key copies distributed to your key organisers. There's no per-person access fee and no registration needed for additional visitors. A 20ft container holds all of that event equipment comfortably with room to spare. Community and church groups across Brisbane's south-west use us for exactly this purpose.
We're in Richlands now but moving to a new build in Forest Lake. Settlement is in 8 weeks but the house won't be ready for 12. Can we use a container to move things out of our Richlands home gradually over that period?
This is one of the most practical uses for a container. You book it, start moving things out as you pack, and by settlement day the house is clear. When the new build is ready, you collect everything and give 30 days notice. It avoids the cost of a full professional move twice and you control the pace. Jason can usually get you set up within a day or two - call him on 0452 043 647 to sort the timing.
I'm a plumber based in Richlands and my partner wants the tools, pipe fittings, and spare parts out of our garage. What's better - a vehicle bay or a container?
For tools and parts, a container is the right call - it's lockable and weather-protected, which a vehicle bay isn't. A vehicle bay works well for a work vehicle or trailer you need to keep off the street. If you have both - a van and a load of gear - the $549/mo combo gives you a container next to a bay. For most plumbers, separating the van storage from the parts and tools also makes the work day cleaner: drive in, grab what you need from the container, load the van, drive out.
I drive for a freight company and my work van is a commercial vehicle. Council rules on our Richlands street don't allow commercial vehicles parked overnight. Can I leave the van with you during the week?
Yes - this is a common use for the vehicle bays. Contractors, delivery drivers, and freight workers whose residential street doesn't allow commercial vehicles overnight park with us regularly. You have 24/7 access so you can pick up the van before your shift and drop it off after. At $250/mo it's significantly cheaper than a commercial parking space and the van is on a secured site with CCTV.
My kids are in football, cricket, and swimming clubs. The garage is buried under gear for three sports. What's the best way to use a container for all of this?
A 20ft container handles multi-sport household gear well. The key is organisation - sports bins or stackable crates grouped by sport, with items you access most often (active season gear) near the front and off-season equipment toward the back. You won't fill a 20ft container with three kids' club gear - you'd use maybe a third of the space - but you get the garage back and every sport has its own section. It's a lot easier than tripping over cricket pads in football season.
I live in a Richlands rental and we've been given 30 days notice to vacate. I've found a new place but it's not available for 6 weeks. How quickly can I get a container and does it bridge the gap?
We can usually get you set up within 1-2 business days of booking. A 6-week bridging period works well with month-to-month - you'd pay for roughly two months (with 30 days notice at the end). The container gives you somewhere to move everything from the rental immediately, so you're not stuck waiting with nowhere to go. Call Jason on 0452 043 647 to sort the timing.
