How are my items stored?
All of our container storage units are made from the highest quality steel so your possessions are kept safe from the elements at all times.
What security keeps my items safe?
The Storage Land site is fully fenced, requiring a personalised key code for access. The entire facility is covered by 24/7 cameras and lighting. Your items are in good hands with Storage Land.
What can't I put into storage?
The only exceptions are - Hazardous and Flammable Materials, Illegal or Stolen Goods, Firearms or Explosives, Foodstuffs or Organic Material.
What do I need to do to move out?
We just ask that you give us 30 days notice of your intention to move out.
What is the minimum time I can store with you?
1 day, but we have a minimum charge of 1 month's rent. Please contact us for further information.
Can I transfer to another space should I require further space?
Yes, you can and your monthly unit rental amount will be altered to suit the size you move into.
Can someone else access my space?
Only if you give them your key to your shipping container! We do not hold any of your keys, you need to buy your own lock, or buy one from us.
When can I get access to my things?
24/7 - come and go as you please!
Are there any extra costs?
The price you are quoted includes your storage charges, security deposit and GST. You will need a padlock to secure your unit.
How often do I need to pay?
Payment is one month in advance on the move in and then on the anniversary date of each month thereafter. If you pay for 6 months or more in advance, further discounts may apply.
Do I need my own padlock?
Yes, you need your own padlock, that way you’re guaranteed to be the only person who has a key.
How soon can I move goods into my storage container?
Depending on our availability it will be within 24 hours. Just call us and we will arrange a time, complete the required set up.
Are the containers weather tight?
Only A-grade (seaworthy) containers are used and regular maintenance is carried out to ensure the containers remain in this condition.
Are the containers secure?
The Archerfield site is equipped with a security system including CCTV surveillance on the inside and outside of the facilities. You will be given an access code so you can enter.
